We do not run advertising trackers, we do not build profiles, and we do not sell or rent your details to anyone.
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies of its own, which is why you are not being asked to click a consent banner. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
We use a small number of established providers to run the site and the newsletter. Each of them processes data on our instructions:
Some links on this site may earn us a commission if you buy something. It never costs you more, and it never decides what we recommend. Anything affiliate-linked or paid for is marked as such on the page where it appears.
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Every dispatch has a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom, and unsubscribing removes you from the list. To exercise any of these rights, email us and we will action it within 30 days. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
